The Knapp Family: May 2010

phew .... It has been quite awhile since I have updated! I am still trying to figure out how to juggle 3 kids! I'm trying to remember how I managed when I did in home childcare , but having 3 fulltime is certainly a lot different :-)! We are all doing great, just busy!

Conner is finishing up preschool at WeeCare, I know he is going to miss it! He LOVES it so much, but he does start Pre-K in the fall! I'm going to be so sad having him gone all day 5 days a week! Carson will start preschool in August at WeeCare and hes very excited! They are both doing gymnastics still and are doing really good! They also participate ( some of the time) in Roys wrestling class he is teaching!

Carter is 2 months old, I can not believe it! I took him to his two month apt. on Friday and he weighed 11lbs 10oz and was 23 1/2 inches long ( he was 7lbs 7oz and 20 1/2 inches at birth ), hes getting so big!! Poor little guy dealt with an awful rash for about 3 weeks! It wasnt your typical "oh look, a little rash" it was BAD, but his skin is 100% clear now! Thankfully! I must say I have never seen a baby like him, he is sooo good, you dont hear him cry, he crys maybe 5-10 mins a day if that. Its really bizzare, but I am not complaining, I'm sure he will find his voice one day :-)! I drag him around everywhere and people are always asking, does he ever cry? I went home to IL for a few days and he cryed once for what a whole 30 seconds? Roy and I took him with us to Hooters to an MMA fight we were gone 5 hours and not once did anyone hear a peep from him. Then today he woke up at 6am and was awake until 1pm ( took him to church) he just looked around never cried or complained!

Roy is doing good, like I mentioned before he is coaching a youth wrestling program here in Cabot and really enjoying it! He's been preparing for his PFT coming up and he has lost 20lbs in 6 weeks ( not that he needed to! )! He's already started training for a Marathon run ( that we hope to do next year !) and has worked his way to 10 mile runs ( 1hr 14 mins 28 seconds is his record time )! He will be leaving for Sgts course in August and will be gone for 2 months to North Carolina, boo! It will help with promotion though, but I wish he didnt have to go, especially because he has to miss another one of Conners birthdays.

I am doing good! I'm still keeping up with my workouts I have lost all my baby weight and I am 9.5lbs under my pre pregnancy weight ( I gained 8lbs before I got prego tho!! ..but I'm back to the weight I want to be )! I just have a couple inches more on my waist even though I am lighter, and we wont talk about the inches I have on my hips :-)! ha! I've been going to the gym at least 5 days a week, and have started slowly running outside again . Started with 3 miles and plan to work my way up!

I recently went home to visit family! That way everyone who hasnt met Carter yet could meet him! The only person left he needs to meet is his Grandpa Knapp , his Uncle Micahel , and Uncle Kyle! My brother Kyle is still away at bootcamp, he graduates June 11th ( his 20th birthday! )! I had a good trip , other than Carsons black eye from falling on Grandma and Grandpas stairs, and my car getting in a little accident, it wasnt too bad of a trip! lol! Roy the kids and I are going on a family trip to Colorado in June, I am sooo excited! My brothers and I were all born at Colorado Springs Air Force Academy , we are going to go see the house my brothers and I grew up in (the first few years of our lives at least )! We want to just explore Colorado Springs/Denver areas! Roys aunt is getting married there, so we will be attending the wedding, and I have a Great Aunt and Uncle I havent seen in 10 years there we plan on visiting!
